Atlas Logistics Freight acts as a licensed non-vessel-operating common carrier (NVOCC) and international freight forwarding agent. All cargo transport reservations, route arrangements, brokerage workflows, and ancillary warehousing solutions are subject strictly to the conditions outlined herein.
All rate estimates are generated dynamically based on cargo information provided at the time of booking. Final invoice totals are subject to adjustments based on certified third-party scale weights, volumetric dimensions ($L \times W \times H$), carrier peak-season surcharges (GRI), currency fluctuations, and unexpected custom tariff alterations at arrival terminals.
The shipper holds sole legal responsibility for the absolute accuracy of all trade documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, hazardous materials declarations, and country-of-origin certificates. Any losses, port demurrage fees, or customs fines resulting from non-compliant paperwork will be billed directly to the customer's account.
In accordance with standard global transportation frameworks (such as the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act and the Warsaw Convention), standard carrier liability is strictly capped based on cargo weight metrics and does not reflect full product value. Shippers are highly encouraged to purchase all-risk cargo insurance policies through our operations network to safeguard investments against severe sea weather or force majeure events.
Cargo classified as hazardous, toxic, or flammable must be explicitly declared before routing begins. Shippers must provide up-to-date Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure compliance with international maritime and aviation transport regulations regarding packaging labels and lane safety protocols.
All freight forwarding balances, customs duties advanced by our broker desk, and port routing fees must be settled according to agreed net credit windows. Atlas Logistics Freight retains a legal possessory lien on any cargo in transit if outstanding shipping fees remain unpaid.
These terms and carriage frameworks are governed by and construed under maritime law and the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any formal legal disputes arising from routing operations or cargo damage claims must be filed within the designated corporate jurisdiction courts.
